The Doyle Collection’s Dupont Hotel in Washington DC has opened “Level Nine”, a floor reserved for the hotel’s 15 suites, including a living room area complete with fireplace and complimentary drinks and snacks.
The new floor is part of a US$52m refurbishment programme at the former Jury’s Inn Washington, located at Dupont Circle, around 15 minutes walk to the Capitol / Georgetown.
Level Nine guests access the floor by a private lift, and have access to a 900 square foot living room designed by Adamstein and Demetriou, featuring a fireplace, leather chairs and sofas, floor-to-ceiling windows and a large balcony with views of Georgetown and the National Cathedral.
Facilities include a coffee machine, books and games, and complimentary pastries, canapes and drinks.
The Dupont Hotel is currently offering an introductory rate for stays on Level Nine from US$449 per room per night, valid until March 31, 2010.
