Liverpool has added another property to its rapidly growing hotel portfolio, with the opening of the Novotel Liverpool Centre.
Located on Hanover Street close to the regenerated Paradise Street district of the city (including the Liverpool One complex), the 12-storey new-build hotel features 209 Novation rooms, including LCD TVs with connections for mp3 players, and bath and separate shower.
Leisure facilities include an indoor pool with underwater Bose stereo system, spa bath, steam room and fitness centre, as well as a kids’ corner and Mac corner with free internet access.
The brand’s signature restaurant Element offers a flexible menu where guests can choose from a selection of dishes in either taster, starter or main-course sizes, as well as “pods” where lone diners can watch TV while they eat.
For meetings there is a dedicated conference floor including nine meeting rooms, as well as Eureka, Novotel's new meeting concept (pictured) - for more information on this see online news August 26.
Novotel Liverpool Centre joins the recently opened Bridgestreet at Liverpool One and Hampton by Hilton Liverpool / John Lennon Airport properties. Hilton is also due to open a hotel within the Liverpool One complex later this month, and IHG has announced a Hotel Indigo property for 2011 (see online news October 9).
