Bangkok Airways and Air Berlin are to operate a codeshare agreement on nine weekly flights between Bangkok and three German cities, Dusseldorf, Berlin-Tegel, Munich from November 1.

The self-styled boutique carrier Bangkok Airways will connect Air Berlin’s passengers to Koh Samui, Phuket and Chiang Mai under the same flight code.

Bangkok Airways has adopted similar codeshare agreements with Etihad Airways and Air France. The Thai-based carrier operates a significant network to key business, leisure and cultural destinations in southeast Asia.
