From now until March 2010, travellers flying on SilkAir can enjoy special discounted airfares to and beyond Singapore from 18 cities across six countries in Asia.
The campaign is part of a series of regional marketing initiatives, spearheaded by SilkAir in partnership with the Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to increase the number of leisure and business travellers into the city state. It also complements STB’s “2009 Reasons to enjoy Singapore” global marketing push.
The airline’s discounted fares will be supported by several market specific promotions such as the SilkAir Great Singapore Escapade campaign in Xiamen, the SilkAir Hungam campaign in the Indian cities of Kochi, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad, as well as special year-end and early-bird packages in the Indonesian market.
These in-market promotions will be launched in phases across 18 cities, spanning China, Indonesia, India, the Philippines and Thailand.
