AirAsia will launch direct Penang-Hongkong and Kota Kinabalu-Brunei flights on July 31 and September 9 respectively. Both flights will be operated daily.

Asiana Airlines has launched a new website that combines content previously found on four separate Asiana websites. The new site has a simpler look and is also available in English.

Emirates has launched a promotion for return economy flights from Hongkong to Bangkok HK$1,000 (US$129) available for booking until July 20. The promotion is valid for outbound travel before August 31, and passengers can stay for a maximum of seven days.

Japan Airlines is going to cut flights between Chubu’s Central Japan International Airport and Paris starting the end of October due to drops in demand as a result of the economic downturn and scares from the A(H1N1) influenza.

Qatar Airways has announced the bringing forward of two of new flights to Amritsar and Goa in India. The flights will now commence on October 11 and 25 respectively.
