Keen to build up its tourism numbers, Taiwan has extended the stays of several foreign nationalities. The list includes visitors from Hongkong, India, Macau, the Philippines and Thailand.
For temporary visits, they are now allowed to stay up to 30 days on each entry. Previously, they could stay only up to 14 days. The new regulation, issued by the country’s National Immigration Agency, is now in effect.
