Oman Air moves London flights to Heathrow

17 Dec 2008 by Mark Caswell

Oman Air will switch its London-Muscat flights to Heathrow from January 15.

The airline currently flies daily from Gatwick to Oman’s capital using Airbus A310 aircraft, with flights departing London at 0945 and arriving into Muscat at 2100. But from January 15 these flights will be switched to Heathrow, with an overnight flight departing London at 2130 and arriving in Oman at 0900 the next morning.

The return leg will also be retimed, with the current 0135 departure (arriving into London at 0555) being switched to a 1255 departure, landing in Heathrow at 1740. This compares to BA’s daily schedule between Heathrow and Muscat, which departs London at 0930 (arriving at 2200) and returns at 0015, landing back into Heathrow at 0625.
