Starwood’s W Hotels brand will open its first properties in both Hong Kong and the Middle East over the next couple of months.
The W Hong Kong is due for a September 1 launch, and will comprise 393 rooms with views of the city’s skyline. The hotel is located in Hong Kong’s commercial, entertainment and cultural district of West Kowloon, and is connected to Elements shopping centre.
Features include two restaurants and a bar, a rooftop pool, spa, 73rd-floor fitness centre, business centre and 760sqm of meeting space. For more information visit whotels.com/hongkong.
A couple of months later W
will launch its first property in the Middle East, when the W Doha Hotel and
Residences opens on November 1. The hotel is located in the West Bay area of
Doha, and features 291 rooms and 154 residences, several restaurants including
La Maison du Caviar and Spice Market, a poolside shisha lounge, champagne bar, 1,000sqm
of meeting and events space, and luxury retail outlets.
W Doha will be joined in the Middle East by a Dubai-Festival City property in 2010. For more information visit whotels.com/doha.
W is the trendy brand from Starwood Hotels and Resorts, sitting alongside sister brand Aloft.
