Jet announces FFP partnership with Brussels Airlines

25 Sep 2007 by Mark Caswell

Jet AirwaysJet Airways has announced a frequent flyer loyalty scheme partnership with Brussels Airlines. The Belgian airline joins twelve other carriers to enter into FFP agreements with the fast-growing Indian carrier.

The partnership means members of the Jet Privilege Miles scheme will now be able to earn and redeem miles on Brussels Airlines flights, with the same applying for Brussels Airlines' Privilege members on Jet flights.

The announcement is an important one because it follows Jet's steps to create a mini hub at Brussels Airport earlier this year. The carrier started flights to Toronto and New York from the Belgian airport this summer (see online news August 16), so business travellers will now be able to use the partnership to earn and redeem miles on connecting flights with Brussels Airlines to destinations such as Berlin, Madrid, Paris and Rome.
