I’m a US citizen living in the US, I wonder if the government will start charging us a tourism fee in addition to the tax, 9/11, security etc fees to travel domestic. Oh no I just gave them a idea!

Where will all these taxes end ? I think when my current ESTA visa runs out, I will have to think hard about visiting countries that charge extra to visit them. It may not sound much, but usually these charges are the thin end of the wedge, and double very quickly (eg london congestion charge)
