High-speed rail operator Thalys has confirmed today that it will link these two major hubs from March 31.
Tickets go on sale from tomorrow (Tuesday).
There will be en route stops at Rotterdam, Antwerp and Brussels.
However it seems that, initially at least, there will be only two daily services although these do timed to meet many flight departures/arrivals.
I am sure the airlines will welcome this rail development. Rail is more reliable than air in bad weather and Schiphol suffered an especially bad day yesterday leading to many flights being cancelled and delayed.
