Norse Atlantic is finding the Caribbean a challenge

Yesterday I posted a comment on the above thread.

At that time Norse’s website made no reference to the new LGW-Cape Town service from late October 2024.

The above has been added to the website overnight and thank you “CheerUp” for alerting us to this development.

It appears that Cape Town will be a replacement for the two Caribbean routes which Norse intended to operate for winter 2024-25 which were removed from its booking pages.

We wait to see what other routes Norse has planned for the coming winter season.

Mark has just posted news of Cape Town.

Norse Atlantic to launch Gatwick-Cape Town route

It’s more logical for them and would book with them IF there is stability in schedule as I travel regularly from London to Cape Town. Fares are so high over winter. That said, I would prefer more BA flights from Gatwick to Cape Town (they were going to go to 5 a week before COVID hit).

Dubai would also fit with Norse’s model / the competition.
