    Notwithstanding the downs (the story about how you got the 25 year long service award made me very sad: such an important thing to have messed up on), my general experience has been (and remains) that the BA crew are normally very good and really look after passengers. There are hiccups, yes, and perhaps more than in the past but generally the standard that you and your colleagues deliver is very good so I want to take this opportunity to thank you. I have remained loyal to BA for some years because of this (and despite its continuing gradual descent to a low cost/low fare carrier…)
