..and also a lounge for all passengers at the gate offering free beverages and snacks….

I last flew Bangkokair a few months back and I have to say it is far far better than the LCC in the UK.

    For around Asia, highly recommended.

Thanks for your assistance, perhaps patience is a virtue? I’ll look again in a couple of days.

    Oh, honestly (rolls eyes)

How could you pick only on the things which don’t distinguish them from other airlines and miss the whole point of my post which was that they offer something else which is a bit special?

Incidentally, the link you helpfully provided is for their business class service, whereas I was talking about their economy cabin. Which, let me say it one more time, gives you lounge access.

You will shortly, of course (bringing this thread slightly back on-topic), be able to book flights with them on ba.com when their impending codeshare comes into effect:

Poke fun all you like, but I think this is a win-win for both airlines. And perhaps BA could even learn a thing or two from their new partner – after all, BA also offer short-haul economy cabins where “the seats are ordinary and the IFE ordinary if it exists at all (it is not fitted to all aircraft, and where it is consists only of overhead screens)” and where you don’t even get “in-flight food [that] is quite bearable”. Come to that, you could say the same of Club Europe too…
