They really need to do something at SIN. Outbound arriving in SYD wasn’t too bad but as everyone is piled into the same lounge, timing is everything!
We were able to get a shower with no waiting and a nice seat in the lounge with a well stocked buffet if you wanted anything. But oh my on the way back with a very short stop-over enroute to LHR, this same lounge was mobbed. We did not want a shower this time, but would have liked somewhere to sit, and it was very difficult, due to being very busy, but with selfish travellers using seats to put their bags on! And I mean carryon suitcases, not even precious designer handbags! It was also very hot and sticky in there, so we literally walked round and out!
Anyway with such a short stopover, you barely have time to get to the lounge and back to the gate again, and you then have to queue with everyone to get back through gate security. So you land up all hot and sticky and wished you could then have a shower! Ho hum!
