You can only hold a US credit card if you have a US bank account etc. The international dollar card that is available in the UK has its own loyalty exchange rates and is not included in the US transfer bonuses.
I’m sitting on 400K+ of MRs, many of which will find a home in Avios as soon as a decent UK avios transfer bonus shows up.
Thats not counting my £400-ish of Tesco CC points that are equally waiting for a tesco->Avios transfer bonus.
