Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road proudly announce the successful upgrade of their in-house bottling plant, signalling a strong commitment to sustainability. This initiative reflects the hotels’ dedication to reducing environmental impact by eliminating plastic bottles from their property and introducing eco-friendly glass alternatives.

Cluster General Manager Suveer Sodhi emphasises the significance of this milestone, highlighting the hotels’ unwavering dedication to sustainable practices while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The upgraded plant represents a strategic investment in sustainability, enabling a substantial reduction in carbon emissions and single-use plastic waste.

With a capacity to produce 500-600 bottles per hour, ranging from 300 ml to 500 ml, the plant aims to eliminate approximately six lakh plastic bottles annually. Partnering with Lucerne Waters Pvt Ltd, known for its glass bottling plants and mineral-enriched water, the initiative aligns seamlessly with Marriott International’s global sustainability goals, emphasising waste reduction, water conservation, and energy efficiency. The bottling plant yields alkaline water abundant in essential minerals such as calcium, potassium, and magnesium, boasting a pH level ranging from 7.2 to 8.
