Dubai-based airline flydubai has been recognised with two awards at the Aviation Achievement Awards 2024, taking home the prizes for “Airline of the Year” as well as “Outstanding Contribution to the Air Cargo Sector”.

The first awards that flydubai has received in 2024, they were given out at an awards ceremony held in Dubai on March 3, 2024, attended by key members of the regional travel and aviation industry. These two prestigious new titles are added to the airline’s list of accolades from the previous year, marking its continued commitment to excellence in everything from enhancing customer experience and challenging industry standards to its investments in innovation, technology, and more – all of which has been reflected in the airline’s recently-reported record-breaking profit of Dhs2.1 billion for the year ending 31 December 2023, which was the carrier’s strongest-ever performance.
