Executive Club members can currently collect double Avios on up to ten flight and holiday bookings.

The new offer is valid for bookings made by 21 November and travel completed by 14 January, 2024.

The new Avios earning system for BA flights recently took effect, which sees members collect between 6 and 9 Avios per qualifying £1 spent, depending on elite status.

British Airways to change ways of earning Avios from October

Under the offer this will be doubled on new flight bookings made under the promotional period, meaning Blue members will earn 12 Avios per £1 spent, with Bronze members getting 14 Avios per £1 spent, Silver members collecting 16 Avios per £1 spent, and Gold members earning 18 Avios per £1 spent.

Under the new earning system members earn Avios on the base fare and carrier-imposed-charges, as well as on ancillary purchases including upgrades purchased online or at the airport, pre-paid seating charges and excess baggage charges.

BA Holiday packages normally earn 1 Avios per £1 spent, with this being doubled to 2 Avios per £1 spent during the promotional period. This is in addition to the double Avios collected on the flights within the holiday booking.

Note that members must pre-register for the offer – only bookings made after registering will be eligible for the double Avios.

Qualifying flights are counted as a single leg of a journey, so a return trip between London and New York would count as two flights.

Flights operated by transatlantic joint venture partners American Airlines, Iberia and Finnair between Europe and North America (where the booking has a BA prefix) are eligible for the offer, but other codeshare flights are not.
