Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red have launched a flash offer for members looking to make reward seat redemptions in the coming days.
Members can get 25 per cent off the number of points needed to book reward seats, with the offer valid across all routes and in all cabins.
The promotion runs for reward seat redemptions made by 3 October, for travel until 31 December, 2023.
Examples given include 15,000 Virgin Points for a return economy redemption between Heathrow and New York (usually 20,000), and 22,500 for a return economy redemption between Heathrow and Los Angeles (usually 30,000).
Note that customers will still need to pay the full taxes, fees and carrier-imposed surcharges on any redemptions.
The promotion coincides with the current offer of up to 70 per cent bonus points when Flying Club members purchase or gift Virgin Points between now and 3 October.
And the current Virgin Atlantic sale also runs until 3 October, with the carrier highlighting up to £2000 off Upper Class fares on selected flights.
