JetBlue has launched its second transatlantic route to the Netherlands, with a daily service between Boston and Amsterdam.
Flights depart Boston Logan airport at 2213, arriving into Schiphol at 0935 the following day, before returning at 1135 and landing back into Boston at 1400.
The route is being operated by JetBlue A321 LR aircraft, configured with 114 core (economy) seats and 24 Mint Suites.
The daily service joins the carrier’s flights between New York JFK and Amsterdam Schiphol, which launched on 29 August.
As previously reported JetBlue had been trying to obtain slots at Schiphol for some time, before finally getting the go ahead earlier this year.
The US airline will compete with Skyteam carriers Delta and KLM on the Boston-Amsterdam route.
JetBlue also serves London’s Gatwick and Heathrow airports from Boston, and will add flights from the airport to Paris in 2024.
