Accor has opened the first property under its Pullman Hotels and Resorts brand in South Africa.
Pullman Cape Town City Centre is housed within the city’s Triangle House skyscraper on Riebeek Street, close to the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The 104-metre-tall building was built in the early 1990s, and had previously housed a Radisson Blu hotel.
Features include an outdoor swimming pool, fine dining restaurant The Piano Room, Sea Street Coffee Lounge, and Ghibli Bar and Pool Terrace, as well as six meeting rooms accommodating up to 110 guests.

This summer Accor announced a renewed push of its Pullman brand, envisaging it to become the global business hotel brand to cater to the post-Covid workforce, the new generation of business travellers, multi-hyphenates (people with multiple different jobs) and digital nomads.

Commenting on the opening Paul Stevens, chief operating officer, premium, midscale and economy division, Middle East, Africa and Türkiye at Acco, said:
“It is truly exciting to see Accor’s presence continue to grow in South Africa with the introduction of the first property under the Pullman brand.
“The Pullman Cape Town City Centre is poised to amplify the brand’s presence and encapsulate the essence of the city – a fusion of hidden gems, adventurous escapades, and innovative business prospects, beckoning guests from every corner of the world.
“Cape Town, with its blend of cosmopolitan allure and natural beauty, stands as an irresistible destination for both leisure explorers and business pioneers. ”
