IHG Hotels and Resorts will open a dual-branded property in Dubai’s Business Bay area by the fourth quarter of this year.

Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay will be the first in the UAE to feature the brand’s Open Lobby concept. The first property in the Middle East to showcase that concept was the newly-opened Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District in Saudi Arabia.

The upcoming Holiday Inn in Dubai will be a 275-key hotel that also has a fitness centre, an outdoor pool and meeting and event spaces which will have a capacity for up to 100 guests. It will also have two new dining venues, a Mexican eatery, La Plancha – Terraza Mexicana, and a modern European restaurant and bar, Brasserie on One.

IHG’s upscale extended stay hotel brand, Staybridge Suites, meanwhile will also open along with the new Holiday Inn. Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay will offer 120 suites with options of studio, one-, and two-bedroom suites. The all-suite hotel will mainly target extended-stay travellers.

All suites will feature a balcony, fully equipped kitchenette, refrigerator, cooking hob, and a laundry machine with a dryer. Guests can also avail of a complimentary hot breakfast, the ‘Social’ hour with complimentary bites and drinks, and access the property’s recreational facilities.

The dual-brand property is located a 15-minute drive from Dubai International airport, and close to landmarks including Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera, and the World Trade Centre.

Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay is part of a portfolio that includes nearly 1,500 open or in the pipeline Holiday Inn hotels worldwide.

Staybridge Suites Business Bay is now one of more than 470 hotels under the Staybridge Suites brand which are either open or in the pipeline.
