British Airways’s Gatwick-based subsidiary BA Euroflyer will launch flights to Fuerteventura on November 2.
The island will join Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria as the fourth Canary Island served by the short-haul airline.
Flights will operate twice weekly (on Thursdays and Sundays) during the winter season, operated by a mix of A320 and A321 aircraft with two classes (economy and business). A third flight on Wednesdays will be introduced from February 28, 2024. See flight details below.
Fares for return flights start from £129, though those booking an economy ticket before June 18, 2023 will be able to secure an early bird deal from £114 for travel on select dates.
British Airways Holidays will also be offering seven-night flight and hotel packages available from £349 per person.
Tom Stoddart, BA Euroflyer’s CEO, said:
“Adding Fuerteventura means we now fly to the four largest Canary Islands, which are great options for families, couples and friends alike. Fuerteventura enjoys warm weather year-round, so it is a great option for those looking for winter sunshine without travelling further afield.”
The route marks the seventh new service to be added to BA Euroflyer’s network this year, following new summer flights to Montpellier, Corfu, Mykonos and Salzburg and winter services to Sharm El Sheikh and Innsbruck.
The winter service to Sharm El Sheikh will mark British Airways’ first Avios-Only flight.
