The restaurants at Grand Hyatt Tokyo will gear up for Halloween festivities by offering a variety of exciting Halloween-themed items. One can enjoy Halloween at home with their new Halloween afternoon tea takeout box complete with decorations such as Halloween balloons and masks from Japan’s oldest balloon specialty store, and Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s neighbor, ‘Tuxedo Bear’. The box will also be available for delivery to places that are within five kms of Nishi-Azabu.

From October, ‘The Oak Door Bar’ will transform into a black-and-white setting reminiscent of a classic horror movie and the bartenders will craft four unique Halloween cocktails and mocktails including “Anti-Venom,” which will be served in a test tube;“V-Blood No. 2” a spooky blood-red cocktail and “ENP Gas” a smoky purple cocktail made using dry ice and served from a UFO-shaped decanter. The chefs at The Oak Door will craft a Horror Movie Afternoon Tea set, which will include seven bites inspired by Hollywood horror movies including a mint-flavored mochi dessert made to look like an alien and Dracula-like crispy blackened chicken wings.

From late September, ‘The French Kitchen’ will offer a Halloween-themed afternoon tea featuring Instagram worthy plates of sweet and savory items as well as an spooky eyeball mousse made with butterfly pea tea, which will be brought to the table on a serving cart and magically change colors before diners’ eyes.

Additionally, for a cozy Halloween at home this year, Fiorentina Pastry Boutique is offering a lineup of Halloween-inspired sweets made of Japanese pumpkin, such as the pumpkin short cake, pumpkin Mont Blanc, pumpkin tarts and adorable Halloween lollipops, all of which are available for takeout.
