Goa has imposed a state-level curfew, that will be effective until May 24, 2021.

As a part of the new norm, the inter-state movement of tourists has been prohibited, starting from today (May 10, 2021). However, the state government added that people who are residents of Goa, or who have with them the full vaccination certificate or Covid-19 negative test report for a test done a maximum of 72 hours prior to visiting, are permitted to enter Goa.

Air India tweeted:

Other facilities/activities that will remain closed during this period include casinos, bars, river cruises/water parks/entertainment parks, gym/spa/massage parlours/saloon, and restaurants (however restaurant kitchens can provide home delivery/takeaway services).

Goa Tourism has published a list of activities/establishments/facilities/events that shall remain closed:

Dr. Pramod Sawant, chief minister of Goa said, “I wish to assure everyone that the order of “State Level Curfew” shall be enforced in a very strict manner as compared to all previous restrictions/lockdown orders. Law and order machinery has been duly instructed for the same.”
