The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that China and Japan have agreed to launch a fast-track entry system from November 30 to ease restrictions on business travel.

The agreement was decided upon during the Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit to Tokyo.

The agreement is an active measure to enhance personnel exchanges and accelerate the resumption of work and business operations. It will allow visitors to engage in limited activities during their 14-day quarantine periods.

Japan has recently launched such programmes with Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam.
