HK Express has postponed its flight resumption date to August 2 due to travel restrictions imposed by governments amid the coronavirus crisis, the carrier said in a statement.

The low-cost airline, which was initially planning to resume flights on July 12, says it plans to gradually restart flight from August 2 onwards, though this is “subject to market developments”.

The airline says “schedule adjustments” will also be made to its network.

Customers booked on flights departing on or before August 31 can opt to change their travel date, travel route, or get a refund in the form of credit vouchers or cash, the carrier says.
