British Airways has revealed the temporary adjustments it is making to its on board catering while it works for “a more permanent solution with its catering suppliers”.

The aim is to minimise interactions between customers and crew, according to the airline.

As a result, everything comes in a box.

Customers travelling to a long haul destination will be offered pre-prepared meal boxes with a salad, hot entrée or sandwich, served with a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
