Uber has launched ‘hourly rentals’ service for multi-hour, multi-stop needs in 17 cities across India namely Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Jaipur, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Kochi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Kanpur, and Bhopal.

This is a 24-hour on-demand service to aid intracity transport in this unlock 1.0 phase of India. The service is recommended for those “who need extra time to complete several chores in one trip, and you can add multiple stops without booking trips over and over again”.

The service costs ₹189 for a one-hour/10 km package and can be booked for a maximum of 12 hours. Here is the list of starting prices according to cities.

The new service has been integrated with the Uber app (Update your Uber app to the latest version if you can’t see ‘hourly rentals’ option)

How to avail the service:

  • Select ‘hourly rentals’ for your trip.
  • Select your hourly package – You can choose packages from one hour to 12 hours.
  • Tap ‘confirm hourly rentals’ to request your ride.
  • Add or remove destinations during your ride as per your plan.
