Following the suspension of services at Terminal 2, Singapore Changi Airport has decided to further consolidate its terminal operations.
From May 16 2020, operations at Terminal 4 (T4) will be temporarily suspended owing to the smaller number of flights operating from there.
As a result, airlines currently based in T4 will operate out of Terminals 1 (T1) or Terminal 3 (T3) instead. Stores and restaurants in T4 will be closed and the shuttle bus service connecting to T3 will also be suspended.
Skytrain services at the airport have been reduced. Visitors and staff can continue to use the MRT link bridge between T3 and T2, and the link bridges leading towards Jewel Changi Airport.
Taxi stands at T1 and T3 will be also consolidated, with one serving each terminal. On the airside, several finger piers in T1 and T3 will not be used for flights until there is demand.
Meanwhile, during this circuit breaker period in Singapore, F&B outlets at the airport are open for takeaways; and essential services such as pharmacies are accessible to the airport staff and others in the airport’s public areas including Jewel.
