Turkish Airlines is set to open five new passenger lounges at the New Istanbul Airport. The lounges can be accessed by business class, Miles & Smiles Elite Plus and Elite, Star Alliance Gold and Corporate Club passengers.
Currently, three lounges are open — the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge, Miles & Smiles Lounge, and Domestic Lounge. The Executive Lounge and Arrival Lounge will start functioning from summer this year.
Spread across 5574 sqm space, the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge can accommodate up to 765 guests. The lounge has 13 private suites with showers. In addition to this, there is a 12 sqm museum here, made in collaboration with the arts and cultural institution Istanbul Modern.
Likewise, the Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles Lounge also has a seating capacity of up to 765. The lounge features 11 private suites with showers and a dedicated space for guests to relax and enjoy some exclusive Turkish food treats.
The two lounges are also equipped with meeting rooms, a library, and a prayer room.
The Turkish Airlines Domestic Lounge can be accessed through a special entrance gate located outside the terminal and features modern amenities.
Turkish Airlines passengers can gain access to the lounges by showing their business class tickets or Miles & Smiles Elite Plus and Elite, Star Alliance Gold and Corporate Club membership cards.
