Etihad Airways has improved its chauffeur services in UAE, by introducing an online booking option in partnership with Vxceed Technologies.

Through this new development, travellers can now directly book and manage their chauffeur services via Etihad’s upgraded mobile optimised website. Other features offered under this system include confirming chauffeur services up to 12 hours before the flight’s departure, making changes in the trip, receiving confirmation for scheduled pickups and canceling bookings.

In addition, this optimised chauffeur service also enables customers to provide feedback after their trip.

Jamal Ahmad Al Awadhi, head of guest experience commercial, Etihad Airways said, “This new service enhancement provides a seamless transportation experience for our guests, and enables them to be in direct contact with their chauffeur at all times. It is important that our renowned Etihad experience exists across the entire customer journey, from home to the airport, from the gate to the aircraft, and then upon arrival at their destination.”

The flag carrier of UAE also plans to introduce a new option where Etihad guest members will be able to use their miles to book a private transfer for themselves within the UAE (irrespective of which cabin they are travelling in).
