Aegean has launched a new business class menu in collaboration with three “major representatives of modern Greek gastronomy”.
The Star Alliance member carrier has partnered with seafood-specialist Lefteris Lazarou, Athens-based Christoforos Peskias and leading Greek Chef Pâtissier Stelios Parliaros to create a menu of over 40 dishes which “highlight local products and wines from both small and large-scale producers, from every corner of the country”.
The collaboration will run throughout 2018, with the ultimate aim of expanding the programme, “in order to create a Hellenic movement that will showcase Greek gastronomy all around the world, with the contribution of renowned Greek chefs”.
Aegean says that the new menu, which will be available on international flights in business class, will offer “flavours from Crete, Naxos, the Peloponnese, and ingredients from all over Greece”
Alongside the new menus the carrier will offer wines chosen by Greece’s first ever Master of Wine Konstantinos Lazarakis, with choices from destinations including Macedonia and the Cyclades.
