Vistara, India’s full-service airline, has partnered with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Delhi International Airport (DIAL) to allow check-in and baggage drop by its passengers at Delhi Metro Airport Express Line.

The Delhi Metro Airport Express Line travels between New Delhi Metro Station and Dwarka Sector 21, via Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Passengers flying the airline can check-in at New Delhi Metro Station from two to 12 hours before their flight’s scheduled departure. Those who have already checked-in via Vistara’s website or mobile app can drop their luggage at the airline’s designated counter at the metro station before heading to the airport. A secured Baggage Handling System (BHS) is employed by the airline to ensure any checked-in bags are transferred to the airport terminal efficiently.

Delhi Metro Airport Express Line departs from New Delhi Metro Station every ten to 15 minutes, and arrives at Terminal 3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport within 20 minutes.

Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara, said, “At Vistara, our efforts constantly revolve around delighting our customers with a seamless and personalised flying experience not only in the air but also on the ground. Our partnership with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Delhi International Airport (DIAL) adds to the multiple check-in options (web and app) we offer to our customers. This will allow our customers to breeze through the check-in process at any of the Airport Express Line metro stations in Delhi with the same efficiency as they experience at the airport.”
