Warwick Hotels and Resorts has acquired two Knightsbridge properties – The Capital Hotel and The Levin Hotel.

The two hotels which sit side by side in Knightsbridge will be its first London hotels

Warwick Hotels and Resorts, founded in 1980 by Mr. Richard Chiu, has 55 hotels and resorts with more than 9,000 rooms worldwide.

“Our group is very pleased with this acquisition, as The Capital Hotel Group headed by David Levin, shares the same hospitality philosophy as Warwick,” said Richard Chiu, president of Warwick. “Being a family business ourselves, we are proud to be able to conclude this transaction with the Levin family and to maintain the family spirit that characterizes the two groups.”

David Levin MBE, who built and established the Capital Group over the past 50 years, said: “It was a difficult decision to sell, but Warwick Hotels and Resorts is the right company at the right time in this highly competitive London market. I see this as only positive for all concerned.”
