Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards 2023

The 2023 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards were announced on Wednesday 18 October, by the publishers of Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine, Panacea Media.

It marks an important post-Covid milestone for the awards, with all global markets having reopened for travel. This means that some award categories including those for lounges have returned, now that facilities have reopened.

This year saw Singapore Airlines walk away with six awards, for Best Airline, Best Asia-Pacific Airline, Best First Class, Best Business Class, Best Premium Economy Class, and Best Economy Class.

Meanwhile Cathay Pacific won three awards, for Best Chinese Airline, Best Frequent Flyer Programme, and Best Airport Lounge (for the The Pier, First Class Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport).

In the battle for the Best Independent Lounge, Plaza Premium First Lounge, Hong Kong came out top, ahead of SATS Premier Singapore, and American Express Centurion Lounge, Hong Kong.

In the hotel categories Grand Hyatt was voted Best Business Hotel Brand in the World, while Courtyard by Marriott won Best Mid-Market Hotel Brand in the World, The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts won Best Independent Hotel Brand, and the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong was voted Best Business Hotel in the World.
