JAL to offer full-flat business seats on Tokyo Narita–Boston

Japan Airlines (JAL) will begin deploying its B787-9 on flights between Tokyo Narita and Boston from June 11. The deployment of the Dreamliner means full-flat business class seats will be offered on the 12hr, 45min flight for the first time. JAL currently operate a B787-8 on its flights to Boston, which features an angle-flat seat. The B787-9 will offer 44 full-flat business seats, arranged in a staggered 2-2-2 layout, so all passengers benefit from direct aisle access. Business class on JAL's B787-9 The B787-9 will also sport a premium economy cabin with 35 seats – something not available on the B787-8. Service times will remain unchanged with flight JL008 departing Tokyo-Narita at 1830 and arriving in Boston at 1715.
