AccorHotels and InterGlobe Hotels open Hyderabad’s first ibis in HITEC City.

The 178-room property is strategically located close to the city’s information technology bigwigs such as Google and IBM. It is also in the same complex as Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre.

Room categories range as: Deluxe Queen/Twin Bed City View rooms and Single Traveller rooms. Free wifi is provided across the hotel.

Two meeting rooms called IMEET 1 and 2 (50 sqm each) can accomodate around 100 delegates.

Its all-day restaurant serving international cuisine is called Spice It. Breakfast is laid out here as well. ibis also has a bar called Hub that offers an array of creative cocktails.

AccorHotels opened ibis Chennai City Centre in January. It also launched Varun Beach Bheemli Resort in Visakhapatnam and Mercure Hyderabad KCP.

Continuing its expansion in the country, its focus on South India is evident. The joint venture between InterGlobe Hotels and AccorHotels will launch properties in Coimbatore, Kochi and Goa in the near future, says Arif Patel, vice president of AccorHotels India, at the launch of ibis in Hyderabad.
