New five-star boutique property opens in Chiang Mai

North Hill City Resort, Chiang Mai

A new luxury boutique resort has opened in northern Thailand in the region’s cultural hub and capital, Chiang Mai. The North Hill City Resort is a 42-room property located 20 minutes’ drive from the city’s international airport and downtown Chiang Mai.

As part of the hotel’s high-end offerings, guests can enjoy amenities such as 500-threadcount linens, a dedicated workspace area and bathrooms with large soaking tubs. It also provides complimentary high-speed wifi.

North Hill City Resort has a large amphitheatre with a swimming pool and bar, known as “The Loggia”, providing events space for MICE groups as well as leisure options for tourists. Meanwhile the resort’s main culinary offering, Zest, serves Italian dishes with a Thai edge. Ingredients at the restaurant are also very fresh, as many are sourced from the property’s own private 6,000 sqm farm.

Along with its close proximity to the new 18-hole North Hill Golf Club, the resort offers views of Doi Suthep mountain, atop which sits the Wat Phra That temple, a key attraction in the city. Other popular attractions near the resort include Baan-Tawai, a village popular for its traditional Thai handicrafts, Wat Ton Kwaen and Wat Intrawart temples, and Royal Park Rajapruek.

“After much preparation, we are thrilled to unveil North Hill City Resort and welcome our first guests for a modern and luxurious experience in this unbelievable destination,” said general manager James Hang. “Away from the hectic pace of the city, our new property offers exceptional amenities and an ideal location for taking advantage of everything the region has to offer.”

As part of the opening, North Hill is offering 30 per cent savings for all room types until November 31.
