Lufthansa launches iPad magazine
Published: 09/12/2010 - Filed under: News »
Lufthansa’s in-flight magazine is now available on the iPad, having been released in digital format for the first time this month.
A free app gives avid readers access to the efficiently-named Lufthansa Magazine, regardless of whether they’re flying or not.
In keeping with other iPad publications, such as that released by technology magazine Wired, Lufthansa’s takes advantage of multimedia technology with videos, photo galleries and animations. The December issue for example has a film on Lufthansa’s A380 with a 360-degree interactive cockpit tour.
Lufthansa Magazine’s readership, including offshoots Lufthansa Exclusive and Lufthansa Woman’s World, has a combined readership of 750,000 per month.
