The Hilton London Metropole has refurbished the rooms in its conference wing, unveiling what it claims are the “largest ‘Double-Double’ rooms in London".
The hotel has invested £2.3 million refurbishing 354 of its 1,054 rooms, all located within its conference wing.
The rooms now feature two queen beds and a sofa bed, with two 32-inch LCD TVs at either end of the room. Other facilities include a flexible working space, separate relaxation corner, a chaise longue and a coffee table.
Rooms measure 34 sqm, and have been decorated with “rich plums and sage green tones” and dark wood furnishing.
The Hilton London Metropole is located on the corner of the A40/A404 and the A5, opposite Edgware Rd underground station and close to Paddington underground and rail terminus, with links to Heathrow via the Heathrow Express.
Hilton says that the refurbishment of the superior rooms “is part of an ongoing programme of upgrades at the hotel that will be continuing throughout 2012 and into 2013”.
