Cathay partners with Swire Hotels for in-flight menu

Business and first class passengers on selected flights departing Hong Kong will be able to enjoy meals created by Swire Hotels restaurants including the Michelin star Café Gray Deluxe.

The promotion will run from November until January 31, 2012, on routes from Hong Kong to destinations including London, Amsterdam, Milan, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome, New York, Chicago, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo.

It will feature over 30 dishes created by chefs from four of Swire Hotels restaurants – Café Gray Deluxe, Feast, Sureno and Bei.

Dishes will include braised short rib of beef, soft polenta, meaux mustard by Café Gray Deluxe; Iberico chorizo with prawn and tzatziki sauce by Feast; lobster salad with vine-ripened tomatoes and lemon chive dressing by Sureño; and black miso pork belly with black sugar, baby taro and brassica by Bei.

Swire Hotels is owned by Swire Pacific Ltd, the largest shareholder in Cathay Pacific. Café Gray Deluxe and Feast are located at Swire’s Upper House and East properties in Hong Kong respectively, while Sureno and Bei are both located at the Opposite House in Beijing.
