Eva Air increases Singapore-Taipei flights

1 Apr 2016 by Tamsin Cocks
Eva Air has added two flights a week to its Singapore – Taipei service. This has increased the total frequency between the two destinations from 11 to 13 flights a week. Flight BR215 now departs Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport every Thursday and Saturday at 0915 and lands in Singapore at 1430. The return service BR216 departs Singapore’s Changi Airport at 1510, arriving into Taipei at 2000. From October 10, an additional Monday service, following the same schedule, will bring the total to 14 flights a week. To celebrate the launch of the additional services, Eva Air is selling round-trip economy class tickets between Singapore and Taipei from US$362, for travel until December 31, 2016. The additional flights will not use Eva Air’s Hello Kitty jets, which are deployed on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The new service will also continue onwards as flight BR52/BR51 to Houston, increasing access to the US city from four to six times a week. Eva Air now operates 68 weekly flights to North American destinations, including Houston, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto and New York.
