The property will provide 279 rooms and suites, with sizes starting from 45 sqm. The brand’s Residence Club executive floor will also be available.

There are four dining options, consisting of a café with landscaped outdoor space, a Chinese restaurant, an Asian tavern and a lobby lounge.

It will also offer a total of 2,800 sqm meeting space, including a 1,000 sqm ballroom, meeting rooms, and a 400 sqm outdoor event lawn suitable for cocktail receptions and product launches.

Recreational facilities will encompass a gym, a rooftop pool, as well as a spa with three single treatment rooms and a double treatment suite. Nearby attractions include the famous Baiyun Mountain scenic area, a ten-minute drive away from the hotel.

“Combined with our existing locations in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai, the addition of New World Guangzhou Hotel will be a key next step in solidifying our foothold in major China gateways,” said Sonia Cheng, chief executive officer of Rosewood Hotel Group, the parent company of New World Hotels and Resorts.

New World Guangzhou Hotel is part of the brand’s expansion in China. Upcoming hotels will be opening in Langfang later this year, Qingyuan, Shenyang and Zhengzhou next year, and Foshan in 2018.
