Airbus launches new cabin brand

24 Mar 2016 by Clement Huang
Airbus has launched its new Airspace cabin brand, which will debut on its forthcoming A330neo aircraft. Encompassing four key pillars for success: comfort, ambience, service and design, Airspace cabins are inspired by the designs of those seen on the A350 XWB, and will feature larger overhead storage bins, spacious lavatories, wider seats and aisles, plus unobstructed under-seat foot space. “With the great passenger feedback on the A350 XWB, and our application of A350 cabin technology and features to the A330neo, we are proud to embrace our cabin design principles through our new brand,” said Dr Kiran Rao, Airbus’ executive vice president of strategy and marketing. Other notable features include ambient lighting, which changes colour throughout flight in order to help travellers acclimatise to different time zones; quieter cabins that rival those on the A380; and fourth generation inflight entertainment connectivity.
