Eva Air has started codesharing with Air Canada, making travel between Asia and Canada more convenient to both airlines’ passengers.
Under the agreement, Air Canada now places its marketing code on Eva Air’s existing flights from Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon to both Taipei Taoyuan and Kaohsiung.
Reciprocally, Eva Air now codeshares with Air Canada on flights from Vancouver to Calgary and Edmonton, as well as those from Toronto to Montreal.
Both airlines have updated their booking platforms with the codeshare flights, and customers may now purchase fares for the services on a single travel itinerary.
North America is becoming a key region for Eva Air – one that the Star Alliance member wishes to develop further. The airline already offers more flights and seat capacity between Taiwan and North America than any other airline, with services to Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.
