Qatar Airways strengthens codeshare partnership with Jetblue

29 Oct 2015 by Clement Huang
An expansion of the existing codeshare partnership between Qatar Airways and Jet Blue will see the Gulf carrier further strengthen its domestic presence in the US. The partnership upgrade will take effect from March 16, 2016 to coincide with the launch of Qatar Airways’ daily direct flights to Boston. It will see the Gulf carrier place its marketing code on Jet Blue flights to 29 destinations within the US. New codeshare flights departing out of Boston include those to: Austin, Charleston, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Long Beach, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, New Orleans, Oakland, Orlando, Portland, Raleigh Durham, Richmond, Sacramento, Saint Thomas, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, San Juan, Sarasota, Savannah, Seattle, Tampa and West Palm Beach. “The strengthening of this codeshare agreement comes at a time when Qatar Airways is focused upon expanding its own direct links to the United States and beyond, with the launch of non-stop services to Los Angeles, Atlanta and Boston throughout 2016,” said Qatar Airways chief executive, Akbar Al Baker. “Passengers travelling to Boston on our latest flagship A350 XWB aircraft will be able to connect onwards to almost 30 JetBlue destinations across the continent, enhancing the overall passenger experience for all, thanks to this expanded codeshare agreement.” For more information, visit qatarairways.com and jetblue.com Clement Huang
