Copa Airlines has launched its own frequent flyer loyalty scheme, Connect Miles.
The Panamanian carrier had previously partnered with Continental Airlines’ One Pass scheme, and subsequently United’s Mileage Plus programme following the merger between United and Continental.
Russ Hinckley, loyalty programme vice-president for Copa Airlines said:
“After studying the market and listening to our customers, we have decided to build a programme tailored for the customers of our network.
“Having our own loyalty programme will give us the tools to better understand our most valuable customers and offer them a better service, with the features and benefits that our members told us they value, such as personalised offers and communications.”
The Star Alliance carrier is currently offering 3,000 bonus welcome miles for new members to the Connect Miles scheme, and an additional 2,000 miles following completion of your first flight with the carrier.
