Jet Airways has announced a second service to Saudi Arabia flying four times a week from Mumbai to Riyadh starting August 6.
The Indian carrier will operate the service on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using Boeing B737-800 aircraft.
Jet Airways’ first daily air service to the country – between Mumbai and Jeddah – was launched last month.
“Saudi Arabia is a very important market because of the large volume of traffic to the Gulf Kingdom to and from India, and [the country is] an important addition to the airline’s growing Gulf network,” said Wolfgang Prock-Shauer, CEO of Jet Airways.
